In the event of any inconsistencies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take precedence.

- To rent a vehicle, you must be at least 21 years old, though age restrictions may vary based on the vehicle type. Those under 25 may incur additional charges. A valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category is required, held for the minimum duration stated in the Rental Agreement. You must also present valid identification and proof of your current address, along with payment information and a security deposit. Additional requirements may apply as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
3. Booking and Payment Details
- Bookings for car rentals can be completed via our website, by telephone, or in person at our Kingston office. To confirm your reservation, a booking deposit may be necessary. Full payment and a security deposit are generally collected at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed through trusted payment providers for your security.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Kingston, it is your responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage right away. A detailed vehicle condition report will be filled out and signed to document its state. You are expected to return the vehicle in the same condition as it was collected, aside from normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charges will apply as necessary. Ensure that the vehicle is returned with the same fuel level as upon collection; refueling fees will be charged if the fuel level is lower. If you anticipate a late return, contact us as soon as possible to avoid additional fees. You are liable for any parking fines, traffic violations, or other charges incurred during your rental, along with an administration fee.

Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on your booking type and the notice period provided. For precise information, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Please be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Vehicle
- Use of the vehicle for any illegal activities is prohibited. Activities such as racing, rallying, or off-roading are not permitted. Transporting hazardous materials is strictly forbidden. The vehicle must not be sub-let or driven by unauthorized individuals. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. Exceeding weight or passenger limits is prohibited, as is operating the vehicle outside designated geographical boundaries without prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.
Limitation of Liability in Kingston
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Kingston will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will be limited to the rental amount paid in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.
9. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in their courts.
